KENDARI-Village should continue to be encouraged into the pockets of growth. To support this, the resource capacity building in rural areas is of particular concern. It was submitted by the Expert Staff of Minister for Intergovernmental Relations Institute of the Ministry of Village, Development Of Disadvantage Region and Transmigration (Kemendes PDTT), Lili Romli, when opening the Focused Group Discussion (FGD) University Forum for Rural (Pertides), in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi Wednesday (05/10).

"The Ministry expects the role of universities to support and help assistance to rural communities. Therefore there needs to be planning and cooperation and integration programs between universities. The synergy that will be harmonized with the ministry program, "he said

Lili added, Ministry of Village, Development Of Disadvantage Region and Transmigration currently focusing on three things. The first was the escort village fund. Dana Village is being developed for each village to be able to apply the concept of one village one product. Second, the government is encouraging the region to apply the concept of rural areas of agriculture and aquaculture estate. The third is the development of village-owned enterprises (BUMDes). BUMDes considered important for an institution rural economy to improve the welfare of the village.

Rector of haluoleo university Kendari, Usman Rianse said, there are three things that must be considered in improving the welfare of the village, namely strengthening the responsibility of village officials, the division of roles and rules or regulations that are applied.

"We must dig wisdom of the villagers. So should encourage cooperation, but also need integrity as a commitment of the villagers. Keep in program planning and resource development is strong, "said Usman.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Working Group (WG) of Pertides, Sulistianto Budi said the FGD aims to formulate an action plan of Pertides Forum in the year 2017. In addition to formulating the program, FGD also expected to result in concrete steps for the welfare of society. Programs formulated should also be able to be executed in public.

"Target concrete are each College has three to five village built. The college also must sharpen synergy with the ministry so that there is a grand design to create a basic course of development of the village, "said Budi, who is also the Chairman of the Institute for Research and Community Service Bandung Institute of Technology.

This discussion is a second series of FGD Pertides with two topics, namely cooperation and integration as well as program planning and resource development. The third focus group will be held at Gadjah Mada University with the main topic of research, community services, and corruption in November. Previously, the first FGD degan topic of appropriate technology took place in UPN Veteran East Java last August.
